Micaela Lottini

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

Micaela Lottini is an Associate Professor in Administrative Law at the Department of Lawat Roma Tre University.She obtained her degree in Law from the University of Rome "La Sapienza." In 1994/1995 , as part of the Erasmus Program, she spent an academic year at the Department of Law, University of Sheffield (UK), under the supervision of Prof. Ian Harden. In 2003, she earned her PhD in Administrative Law from the Faculty of Law, University of Roma Tre, with a doctoral thesis titled “The Limits of the Market between EU Law and Italian Law,” supervised by Prof. Guido Corso. Since 2023/24 , she has been teaching the courses 'Administrative Law' and 'Administrative Law of New Technologies' as part of the e-learning and media education program at the Department of Educational Sciences – 'Roma Tre.' She has previously taught the course (in English) 'State and Market in European Union Law' and the course 'Legal Protection of Animals.She has taught and conducted research at LUISS University Guido Carli, the University of International Studies of Rome (UNINT – formerly LUSPIO), and other public and private institutions. She was a visiting scholar at the Centre of European Law, King's College London, the Department of Government, University of Manchester (UK), and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Philadelphia, USA. For the 2009-2010 academic year, she was a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre – European University Institute (Florence).Since November 2017, she has been a member of the Collaborative Research Network (CRN) Effective Enforcement in EU Law and Policy (www.euenforcement.com). Since July 2010, she has been a member of the International Research Network ReNEUAL (Research Network on EU Administrative Law).She is the author of numerous publications in the field of administrative law, particularly European administrative law, and in the area of legal protection of animals.
